Race rules
TV
TV is the main source of information.
Always check the TV for the current schedule and group.
Schedule
Schedule will be updated realtime, all times are approximate.
Drivers can check the TV for expected time of their next Check-In.
Registration
Pick-up your vest and transponder at the registration desk.
Registration is open until start of Qualification according to Schedule.
Tracker
You will get velcro and tracker needs to be put on place according to instructions.
Each driver needs to return the Tracker after they finish the last race
Freeride
Only riders with a Vest and Tracker can ride on the track during Freeride.
Freeride is always in one direction
Groups
Always follow TV for the Schedule and check if your Group should go to the Check-in.
If you miss the Check-in you will miss the one Race.
Check-in closes when the previous Group ends the race and clears off the track.
Groups are based on the current standings
Check-in
Group called to Check-in will be highlighted on the TV with CHECK-IN signal.
All drivers wait in the Check-in zone and wait for the signal to start.
Drivers start in the order of the Current standings.
Current standings
Current standings are based of sum of the times from already finished Races from both directions.
If there is more than one Race finished on the current direction, the worst result from the direction is not counted.
Qualification
Qualification sorts the Riders to Groups for the first race
Groups for qualification are created randomly.
Each Group has 5 minutes to set the best lap time.
The best lap time is used to determine the starting order for the first Race.
If you miss Qualification you will start to the first Race from the last position.
Semaphore
Sempahore will be placed next to the start/finish line.
Turned off - closed track, Blue light - freeride, Red light - stop, Green light - go
Start
When one Race is finished, Semaphore will be turned off and the track is closed.
Race will be started by the green light on the Semaphore
Drivers start one by one in 1s intervals from the Check-in zone
It is half a lap from the Check-in zone to the start line.
Drivers MUST NOT overtake before the start line.
Drivers should not stop but can drive slow to create a gap to the driver in front.
Race
It does not matter which position you finish the Race, only the Race time counts.
Each Race has 3 laps.
The total time of the 3 laps is a Race time and counts for the Final result.
You will go 6 Races - 3 Races on Left direction and 3 Races on Right direction.
Only 2 best Race times from each direction count to the Final result. = Worst Race from each direction is crossed off
Race time
Race time starts counting for each driver separately when the driver crosses the start line.
Race time stops counting when the driver passes the start line for the 4th time
Only 3 laps are counted, if the rider go another lap it is not counted.
Final result
Final result is a sum of the Race time from the best 2 Races from each direction
Podiums
Podiums are held immediately after the last Race.
